A Federal High Court in Abuja will today deliver ruling on whether to join a Human Rights activist, Ebun-Olu Adegoruwa and a member of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Chukwume Ochu in the suit  seeking the disqualification of the Presidential Candidate of the APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari in the Saturday’s presidential election over his school certificate.
Meanwhile, the court yesterday ruled that it would consolidate all pending applications in the suit and hear them together with the originating summons.
A legal practitioner, Chukwunweike Okafor had on January 26 filed an application seeking to declare that Buhari lacked the educational qualification to stand for the presidential election, having failed to attach same to his form submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
At the resumed hearing of the suit yesterday, the court slated today to rule on the applications filed by three persons seeking to be joined in the suit as parties and to also hear the substantive matter.
Plaintiff’s counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) had, at the last sitting in the matter urged the court to consolidate all pending applications for accelerated hearing, including the one challenging the jurisdiction of the court .
Ozekhome, in his objection, described the persons that are seeking to join the suit as interlopers .
